Lorraine Driver, BSW, MSW
Lorraine E Driver is the owner and founder of
Genesis Consulting, LLC . She has a Bachelors
degree in social work from Albany State
University and a Masters degree in social work
from Clark Atlanta University. She has 10+
years of experience in social work and
community services. She was featured in the
Community Notes- July/August 2005 , Jackson
Barrow (Now Athens Area) Parent Magazine.
Lorraine Driver is a mentor recruitment
ambassador, Mentor for the National Network
of Youth Ministries. Lorraine Driver served on
the CSIP Safe and Drug Free Schools Advisory
Committee for Barrow County Schools. She is a
member of the National Association Of Social
Workers and Women On The Go. She also
designed a committee to promote the social
work profession called, The Committee for the
Advancement Of the Social Work Profession.
She has experienced some personal life
struggles and believes this drives her to
encourage others to empower themselves. She
is a dedicated mother, wife and community
advocate. She is very active in her church and
community programs.

Vidal Driver, BSW, MSW
Vidal has a B.S.W. Degree from Albany State
University in Albany, Georgia, and a M.S.W.
Degree from Clark Atlanta University. He has
been in the field of social work for 11 + years.
He began his career, volunteering in South
Georgia for agencies such as DFACS,
community outreach, and supporting the
South Georgia victims of the flood in 1994. He
has experience in medical social work, mental
health, and over seven years of experience
working with children, adolescents and their
families. Vidal Driver is a loving father and
husband. He believes in the importance of
cultural relevant services. He believes that
cultural relevant services tap into who the
client is as a whole.

Gwendolyn Stone, RN
Gwendolyn Stone has been a Registered
Nurse for 15 years of varied nurse experience.
She was also, a LPN for nine and a half years,
prior to obtaining her RN license. She is an
experienced Mental Health nurse. She is a
team player and works independently. She
brings some management experience to our
team. She has 24+ years of experience in
nursing and community services. She has a
special interest in homeless populations. She
has experienced some life struggles which is
evident in the careful and great care she gives
to her patients. She is a mother of 4, and wife.

Lakita Dunlap-Mercadel holds a Bachelors
Degree in Accounting from Albany State
University and a Bachelors Degree in
Healthcare Management from Clayton State
University. She has worked in the field of
Accounting and Financial Services for 10+ years
and now is bringing some of that expertise into
the social work field. With the financial
background, she has strong desire to gain
strong experience in social work and
healthcare management. She has interest in
helping the homeless and individuals who have
HIV/AIDS. She believes that any community
service is a way to better onesself as well as to
assist someone else in need or at risk. Lakita
is active in her community and neighborhood
improvement programs. Lakita is a devoted
wife and mother.
